QBench
QBench is software that helps labs track their samples, tests, results, and workflows so everything stays organized and nothing gets lost. The interface is functional but visually dense, with heavy tables, repeated labels, and inconsistent spacing that make it hard for users to quickly scan or prioritize information.
What did I do?
I redesigned the interface with the main goal of reducing cognitive load, improving scan‑ability, and bringing structure to an interface that had grown cluttered over time. I reorganized the information architecture, clarified visual hierarchy, and introduced consistent patterns for navigation, filtering, and data presentation. The result is a calmer, more predictable interface where key actions stand out, workflows feel more guided, and users can move through high‑volume tasks with less friction and fewer decisions.
